Animal Sacrifice

I know that it's been a couple of months since I posted anything and I'm sorry about that. Things have just been so busy and this is the first time, in a long time, that I've been able to do anything with this blog. I've changed things, so that's something. But what I want to talk about is animal sacrifice and the debate, and rage, that fuels it. Animal sacrifice was used in every culture that didn't have a belief in one god. Isreal being the only exception This included cultures like Rome, Egypt, Greece, Persia, and others. Human sacrifice was also done, but it was done in huge quantities in the Aztec and Myanan cultures. Animal sacrifice served many purposes. It was an offering to the gods and it was a way for the common person to get meat in their diet, which wasn't something that everyone could afford to have. I'm Back and My Altar

I know the last time that I did a post-it was back in October. I just got really busy and unable to do much writing. I finally got around to getting my Roman altar and it came to me two weeks ago. I will be posting a photo of it when I get on my phone and I'm able to share the photo. Getting one really meant everything to me and I just love how it looks on my altar, which does include a new table to put it on. I will try and post more often then I do; and I hope that you enjoy the upcoming posts. My altar
